Stairway To Heaven?
Those coming-into-the-light shots are always fantastic. Great contrast you got. Nice clear B/W. Did you touch up in curves?
HI Veronica … and thanks for stopping by. No, the only work I really did with this one was to convert what was a color shot into monochrome. Then I pumped up the contrast just touch. The shot was pretty contrasty to begin with. Glad you like it!
So far, most of your stuff has been in color, but you obviously do nice black-and-white too (by the evidence of this photo).
Hi Victoria … lately I’ve been trying to focus on more black and white work, which I love when it’s done well. hmmmm … inspiration for future photo essay.

Love the black and white picture! Passing by the glass, through darkness, and into the light!
The monochrome really gives you the feeling of being one of those walking!
thanks Judy … I feel like I want to follow them.
Excellent shot and location.
Thanks! Good time of day, too … midafternoon on a sunny day, so the light was flooding into the station exit.
it is so clear and so dramatic Stephen…love it
Thanks so much for that, Jo. I’m happy you like this one.
Ahhhhhhhhh The BART it went everywhere … wish we had this down in SoCal. We have a subway but it doesn’t go everywhere. Gas prices are crazy.
