What People Are Saying …

This photo …. make me think about the steps up to heaven – even if I’m not a believer. Stairs leading to the unknown. Brilliant – but I would had deleted this photo as a faliure if it had been mine. Now I know better. Thanks.
Hi Viveka … never delete anything you think might have potential. Scrutinize it, and think of ways of making it work. This pic was originally in color, and not particularly interesting. But I thought something cool was going on with the bright light, and the feeling of upward movement. I took the color out, pumped up the contrast and highlights and voila!
It’s a great shot, Stephen … it’s very difficult to take photos against strong light. Great job! and thanks for the advice – I will do that next time I have a photo with to much strong light.
I love this photo Stephen! Stairway to the light!
HI Judy … this time I was thinking of Led Zep’s “Stairway To Heaven.”
Yes, most definitely!
Re: The light in the tunnel. Make sure it;s not an oncoming train!
Nice shot, it really fits the challenge.
Thanks Allan! hehe … or an Indiana Jones-style boulder!
