What People Are Saying …

Excellent choice for this weeks Story Challenge: Letter V. Beautiful photos of different vessels. I seen several when I lived in NOLA. I could watch them on the Mississippi River. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of the vessels I saw when I lived there.
Hi Dana … you’re welcome. Like you, I have a real affinity for water vessels. Thanks for sharing your story. I can imagine NOLA is a great place to see lotsa cool ships and boats, situated as it is at the mouth of the mighty Mississippi. The Mississippi always reminds me of Mark Twain. Thanks for dropping by!
Love your vessels, Stephen, especially the boat made of beer cans and the junk in Hong Kong! Great gallery… I have such a fascination with boats.
Thanks catbird … me too! I’ve always loved ships and boats and thoughts of a sea-farin’ life! For me, I love being so close to the sea!
btw, that beer can boat is actually sea worthy! Those Aussies think of everything!
Wow! I can’t believe it’s actually sea-worthy. I wonder how they did that… hmmm….
Well, Aussies love their beer, so they found a way to make it work! I guess it navigates better than a keg!
So funny!
marvelous vessels! ^^
Thanks, kz. ahhh … a life on the water! (that’s the water sign in me speaking)
Reblogged this on RD Revilo.
Awesome! Thanks for reblogging my post! Cheers!
you are quite welcome…best of luck…peace
Love the vessels Stephen…If I had to choose one of the pictures, I would go for the first one, in SF…It has a lot of mystery..Looks like an scene of an old film from the 40´s…
Hello Ilargia … I really appreciate that! That shot was taken last year, a few days after Christmas on a typically foggy San Francisco day. I was really lucky with that one. Twenty minutes later the fog lifted.
perfect 3×3 tableau-design!
Thanks frizztext! Lovin’ the new WordPress Gallery options! They really give life to a blog page.

Thanks Andrea … and thanks for dropping by.
You’re quite welcome!
Stephen, wonderful pictures! I love those swans!!!
Hi Judy … hehe, me too! I had a lot of other pictures to choose from with this Challenge, but I just had to get the swans in there!
The first two photos are gorgeous!
Thanks much for that Paula. They’re two of my faves too.
I remember those Tokyo swans and rode in one…
