My Morning Ritual, Part 1

What’s the best part of waking up in the morning? It’s my morning ritual of a hot cuppa Joe, and a Thomas’ English Muffin smeared with non-fat Philly cream cheese (being from Philly, it’s my cream cheese of choice). Then I settle in to read the headlines before starting my workday. That’s my morning ritual, folks. What’s yours?

  1. I’m definitely a breakfast girl! If at home I’ll make an extravagant brunch (usually a late riser due to night shift work!) I love scrambled eggs anything! Sitting with my computer and a decent pot of tea, I’d be happy for the next two hours!!!

  2. Cool! Yep, I’m a big scrambled eggs fan as well. I like putting sauteed veggies (garlic, bell pepper, mushroom, spinach, whatever I have in the crisper) and sometimes a little extra lean ground turkey in mine, as well. Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.

I’m a tea drinker and I watch the news with the better half before we start our work days. Oh and I have to take my dog out. In the winter, that task is not as pleasant. But the weather is warming up.

    • Thanks for checking out my post. I used to watch the morning news as well, but it’s too easy to get sucked in. Next thing you know you’re watching Maury and game shows when you should be working. Wish I had a dog again, but I don’t miss those cold morning walks.
