Love it Stephen, that fog rolling in over the bridge in the background is such a lovely setting for a little summer fishing. xoxo Ailsa
we love our fog here in sf, even if means, as mark twain once said, ‘The coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco.’
It’s often warmer in the fall when there’s less fog, no? I dig the contrasts in the photo!
Hi Henry … good to hear from you again! Yep, I always tell people the best time to visit San Francisco is September and October. warm days, pleasant night and no fog!
Oh, what a lovely shot!
We love our fog here too 🙂

I love how the fog covers pieces of the Golden Gate bridge every morning ’til about 10!
hi, and thanks for checking it out. summer’s coming in, so the fog hangs around until noon, pushes back for a few hours, and comes back again after sundown. it’s like clockwork!
Just set a new travel theme challenge http://wheresmybackpack.com/2012/05/25/street-markets/ I’d love you to join in, if you have the time! Pass it on – oh, and next week’s WordPress theme better not be the same is mine!! 🙂 xxx Ailsa
