Hello, fellow A-to-Zers! If Webster’s defines zany as “ludicrously comical, clownish,” then the entrance to Sydney’s Luna Park amusement park is truly zany (or maniacally scary, depending on your point of view).

I couldn’t agree more – and I lived there for a while and never saw it at night – it looks even crazier in the photo you posted. Although its make-up during the day is still zany!
Hi Cassie … thanks for stopping by. It was a toss up between a daytime shot or a night one, and, as you say, the nighttime shot is much crazier. It’s like you’re being swallowed by the Joker!
Oh my! It looks like it wants to eat me. Zany is right. Good pick for the challenge.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
hehe … it’s actually a really fun, old-timey amusement park, once you get past the grinning gate!
How nice! I miss Sydney. 🙂
hi Myra … me too! I just love it there. it’s where I go to decompress and relax when life in san francisco gets too crazy

Brought back good memories 🙂

Webster’s defines ZANY as
“ludicrously comical, clownish”
you’re welcome, frizz!
Good photo! One of the things I like about blogs is getting to see photos of places around the world that I would never have known existed!
Hi Mr. C! Thanks for dropping by my blog, and I agree … blogs really take you everywhere.
not only Zany, also quite unusual ( and a bit weird at first glance ??)
Hi Rosa … yes, i would agree with your ‘a little weird’ assessment. you should see it in real time. as you say, quite unusual
