He is so small and solitary next to the columns. Great photo.
Thanks again, NN!
By his stance, one might almost suspect that he is a recipient of the Legion of Honor and not just a sight-seeing tourist–he seems very at-home here, doesn’t he?
Hi Victoria … oh yes, I’m sure he lives in the neighborhoods near the museum, and this is a part of his regular walk. The area of SF where this museum is found is really beautiful, as it’s on a big greenspace that looks out on the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Very peaceful. A great place for a walk!
Great shot! He looks so lonely and troubled the way he walks among those big columns…
Hi Ioanna … he’s kinda dwarfed by those columns. Glad you like it!
There’s a statement about scale and relativity in there too.
That too!
I don’t think I visited this place yet. Nice!
Hi Myra … it’s a really beautiful area. The museum also has Rodin’s “The Thinker” in it’s front courtyard. Very cool!
Beautiful shot Stephen! He reminds me of my father in law on his daily walk 🙂
Hi Madhu … and thanks! This one has always been one of my faves.
He certainly does, Stephen. 🙂
I could call this one “A Man and His Thoughts”
