The best part of Christmas is the music, and whether it’s Bing or Bowie, Nat King Cole or The Vince Guaraldi Trio, everyone probably has their favorite Christmas song and album. But I’m guessing not many people are pulling these holidays chestnuts from their record collection. Now I’m not here to judge the music inside of these packages; some of it may be naughty or nice, but like the weather outside, I’m guessing most of it is frightful.
So, on this fourth day of Holidaze, December 23, here are some of the wackiest Christmas album covers ever. How many of them is Santa stuffing in your stocking this year?
All I want for Christmas is the Jingle Bermuda Tree Frogs album. Either that or Garth Brooks!
hehe … John! Paul! George! Eddy?
Happy holidays, Paul! Thanks for stopping by the ol’ blog every now and then! Cheers!
I think you should do a remix – one from each album – for next year’s post! Happy Holidays!
awesome idea, ideflex. That would also make for one very interesting Christmas party soundtrack!!!
And a very happy one to you and yours!!! Cheers!
What fun looking through these. Graphics sure has come a long way but it makes me wonder what people will think of the “style” of 2012. The Garth Brooks did stop me cold – there seemed to be some incongruity between “magic of Christmas” and the look on his face. I have the John Tesh CD and it isn’t bad – just very slow, late night piano (not jazz, type though). Basically a sleeper – though that doesn’t seem to make it romantic.
Christmas With Colonel Sanders?? I can’t even…I bet that Christmas At the Devil’s House is pretty good though. Christmas Disco Party and the space-themed ones sound intriguing!
Hey Impybat … who knew???
I’m a sucker for all things 50s-retro space age, so I gotta get my hands on Christmas On The Moon … but I’m into electronic music, so Switched On Santa is right up my alley. Too many awesome choices!!!
Happy Holi-dee to you, Impybat!!!
Happy Holi-dee to you to, Stephen!!!
Wow, Christmas with Colonel Sanders.., really? I didn’t know David Hasselhoff sang either!! This was so funny. Thank you for sharing 🙂

Can believe you found the cover to Tore Skogmans Christmas songs. And Jularbo. Crazy and wonderful. There is another Swedish cover … but I don’t know who it belongs too. Thanks for this crazy Christmas greeting.
