No matter where I go, I’m always on the lookout for interesting street art, and Sydney was no exception. While not as prolific as San Francisco, Sydney still offered a bonanza of cool, quirky, sometimes challenging, street art. Here are some of the things I found.

What does “wooloomooloo” mean?
Hi Victoria … Wooloomooloo is one of many sections that comprise Sydney, like the CBD (Central Business District) or Surry Hills, which was the part of Sydney I stayed in. As you can see, Surry Hills and Darlinghurst had the most (the the best) street art.
Great street art! I love it.
Thanks Angeline. Yah, some cool stuff here … it was fun tracking it all down.
Wonderful gallery .. you have a really good eye for art. Couple of the Surry Hill that I wouldn’t mind on my street … we don’t have anything like this .. even if we have loads of art. Great job! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Viveka. Yah, there’s a few here I wouldn’t mind having in my place … especially that very cool Robert Plant artwork at the top of this post!
I recognize a few of the ones from Surry Hills and CBD! I’m surprised some of them are still there! I feel like with street art, it’s there today, gone tomorrow.
Hello Antoinette … good to hear from you again. I know! I was very surprised to see that some of my old faves are still around. My hotel was in Surry Hills, and some of these pics were taken only within a two block radius of where I was staying. Darlinghurst had some interesting new stuff! So cool that you recognized them!
