The calendar says November, which means winter is on its way, but you’d never know it by today’s balmy 68 degree temperatures (that’s 20 degrees to those who are more Celsius-inclined, which is, like, the rest of the world). Here in temperate San Francisco, though, we don’t really gauge the coming of winter by the weather; we’re more into the telltale signs that pop up every year at this time. And if they’ve already opened the skating rink in Union Square, then winter must be on its way. If you look in the background, they’re also putting up the big city Christmas tree. Did I mention that it’s only November 6?

nooooooooooo!
oh, yes
I was at the grocery store last night and they had all the Christmas/winter stuff in the seasonal aisle. My stomach just sank.
Last Sunday, while watching a full day of football on TV, I’ll bet I saw Santa Claus twenty times!
Ack, too early!!
The colder weather is coming! And the rain 🙂
yet bet, angeline … it’s inevitable. for now, though, i’m just appreciating this wonderful spell of weather we’ve been having lately … while it lasts!
😀 It must be, all the signs are here 😉 Nicely written as always, Stephen 🙂
Thanks, Paula!
