The competition is intense, especially when illuminated in the pale ghostly
glow of a vintage Pac-Man machine.

That warm glow! I want to play Pacman now … on an actual arcade game machine. But truth be told, I’m a big fan of the robot football game Cyberball. 😉
hey ya, henry. this was taken at one of those big corporate holiday parties with an 80’s theme, so they had all the classic games … dunno where they got them all. spent a good portion of time drinking free wine and playing Asteroids!
There’s a good “test” : does drinking wine improve Asteroids play? I think it’d make Pacman or Donkey Kong a lot more interesting, too …
actually, it does.
truth be told, i was in a fraternity when I was in college, and we had an Asteroids machine in our house, and I got really good at it. so from much experience i can safely and accurately say that being inebriated greatly enhances the Asteroids experience!
Not sure that would be good for the eyes!
hehe … not for an extended period of time.
Very clever thinking behind this image, Stephen. I wish you a pleasant weekend.
thanks, viveka. i like this one. it was very spur of the moment, taken at a holiday party with an 80s theme.
I’m sure that …. a lot of our images has come form a spur of the moment, and they mostly turn out the best.
Great image. Stephen.
