Residential apartment buildings in San Francisco’s Financial District may all look the same, but once you look up, you see the radical, almost harsh angles the seem to scrape the sky. Of course, the clever photographer would know to shoot these buildings at many different perspectives, which lends a deeper dimension to this week’s Angles theme.

Superb angles.
thank you, leya … and thanks for stopping by once again!
My pleasure!
Great Pics
thanks for your kind comments! glad you stopped by.
great perspective in the first photo looks like steps.
haha! it certainly does! thanks for checking it out!
From what you’ve shown us of San Francisco, it seems to be a place of many styles, and much diversity (just the place for a talented person like you!).
Hey Victoria … I’ve lived here for 12 years, and the complexity and rich diversity of this city never cease to amaze me. It has so many faces it would take a lifetime to see them all. So, for obvious reasons, for a photographer like me, it’s nirvana.
Great perspective and angles, Stephen!
thanks a million, patti! took these pics a while ago; love these photo challenges because it lets me unearth gems in my archives.
I do too–for the same reason. They also challenge me to try new filters and post processing techniques.
These angles are an overwhelming perspective, great composition
these buildings look out over the bay, and their complexion changes constantly due to the shifting sun. it’s in an interesting part of downtown sf and it’s very photogenic.
Fascinating…
