    Fantastic entry – Tokyo is truly is the city of lights … up there with NYC and Hong Kong. The lanterns capture is just world class in my book *smile

  5. I really prefer the lanterns, though the street sign is nice too. I’ve seen other street scenes of Tokyo before, but the lanterns are very original-looking.

    • Hi Victoria! Agreed. There’s something about that lantern shot that defines Japan and especially Tokyo. Can’t express exactly why that is. Tokyo at night is an intensely vibrant, colorful place. This pic always takes me back there. I’m glad you like it.
