Hi, and thanks for visiting my little corner of the universe! When I started this blog in January 2012 I had no idea it would be so much fun. In that time I’ve come into contact with lots of very cool, very creative people from all around the world. And it’s also given me a forum to express my own creativity … making it a total win-win for everybody involved!

Like life itself, my blog is a work in progress, evolving into something that I hope will continue to showcase great photography, writing, design, art and humorΒ — my own, and that of other talented people. It’s a celebration of creativity, folks, so visit early and often, and feel free to comment!!!

  2. Hi Stephen πŸ™‚ Good wishes for your *Blog in progress*, You have some great features. I too am thinking of adding some new category pages to my blog like music and recipes too. I had one up at one time called “Tributes to Singers Past”, that was inspired when Amy Winehouse passed away, (very sad) so you have given me some inspiration and motivation πŸ™‚ I am coming along on your work in progress journey with you! Hi Imogen! I say: Go for it! That’s a great topic, one that I would be very interested in following on a regular basis. And you have such a deep pool to choose from … I can think of a million names at this very moment (rest in peace, Michael Hutchence. INXS and music just aren’t the same without you). Thanks for checking out my blog, because I can’t wait to follow yours. Cheers!

I’ve noticed you write a lot of great content about life in the Bay Area. I’m working for a new start-up called HeyLets and we’re trying to get people excited about doing what you do. We want our users to rediscover their city through mini-recommendations from people with similar interests and hopefully pay it forward. Stephen, it’s been a long time in coming, but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for following my blog! Your photos and views of San Francisco make me long to be back in the area, a place where I’ve spent a lot of time. πŸ™‚

    • Hey Henry … no worries, mate! Glad to hear from ya … good times in the ol’ city these days!

      • fotoeins says:

I can only imagine; I just (re)watched games 1 and 4 against the Detroit Tigers. I still can’t wrap the fact in my head : 2 World Series in 3 years. Did anyone expect it? Probably not, but I really like how the pitching (from the starters to the relievers in the bullpen) came through for the Giants.

        • Hey Henry,
I don’t think people really expected this one until late in the season. They had so many things stacked up against them: losing Brian Wilson for the season, losing Sandoval twice to injuries, Timmy’s awful season, Melky Cabrera, and the Dodgers blockbuster trades. They just dug in after all that, though. And then coming back from the brink in both the series with Cincinnati and the Cards! Amazing! After game 4 of the NLCS, it was a cakewalk for them. Very cool. The power of positive thought!

    Hi Steven!
I am very facsinerad of this kind of manipulation of photos. All of you who create these huge breathtaking pictures I admire very much. Can you give me a tip on what program I should use if I’m going to try me on this?/Dan

    • Hi Dan, and thanks for stopping by my blog. To answer your question, I mainly use Photoshop. I’ve been working with it for a long time, so I’m really comfortable with it. I really don’t use any other programs for photo manipulation, because Photoshop does everything I need.

      • Dan says:

Thanks for the reply. Self, I work mostly in photoshop elements. I begin to understand that if I should create “miracles” do I buy into the great ps.
