A-Z Archive: V Challenge: Vertigo

Hello fellow A-Zers. V is for the vertigo I felt as I leaned over a railing to snap this pic of the lobby/atrium of San Francisco’s Hyatt Embarcadero Hotel from 2o floors up.

  1. hi Stephen,
I’m soothed, that you didn’t fall down 20 floors while taking this risky VERTIGO shot …

  2. drewpan says:

I’ve got an irrational fear of heights. I’d never be able to take a shot like that, because my arms can’t reach while my back is pressed firmly against the wall. Especially when the railing only goes up to your waist!

  3. Great shot!! I definitely understand vertigo!

Now that gave me vertigo for sure. Great shot! 🙂

  5. cocomino says:

It’s gorgeous and great place to stay.

  6. Madhu says:

    Cool interpretation Stephen!

  7. Myra GB says:

I would have felt the same way. 🙂

I can barely look at this pic for more than a second… Your mission is a success!

I’m not a great fan of leaning over balconies – although I don’t suffer from vertigo. I’d probably be worrying more about dropping the camera. Heights are generally ok – it’s ladders I don’t like!

Nice idea for the challenge 🙂
