… which is probably the sound this T-Rex made as it smashed its head through the roof
of San Francisco’s Conservatory of Flowers. Oh, the humanity!!!

Great shot, a nice catch.
Hi Naomi … thanks! glad to have ya stop by!
Is there a body when you go inside the building?
Hey Drew! Actually, there is. The Conservatory currently has a show featuring prehistoric plants, and the rest of the T-Rex stands in the middle of the exhibit.
That is just so cool! Those raptors are probably conducting the tours. They’re so clever.
Ha! Grrreat photo!
LOL … good one, Angeline!
You guys always seem to have these creative, free things on display! Is the rest of the dinosaur’s body inside or that only a rooftop decoration?
Hi Judy … yep, the rest of the body is inside the building, right in the middle of an exhibit on Prehistoric Plants.
Hey I’ve noticed this is the second time you’ve called me Judy. At first I thought it was a mistake, and then you did it again! I guess I can change my first name but Judy wouldn’t be my first nor second pick 😉 haha
Oh no … you’re right. my sincere apologies, Antoinette!!!
🙂 That’s one lucky find!! I would have liked the roof shot with the contrasting trees even without the roaring head :D. Well done, Stephen!
Thanks Paula … sometimes they just fall into your lap!
God, it looks so real !!!!!! This I call a lucky shot – how did you notice this sticking out from the roof ??? Great and funny – prefect for the challenge.
Hi Viveka … the Conservatory of Flowers is a popular attraction in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and I just happened to be passing by. It’s actually for a newly opened exhibit about prehistoric plants, and the rest of the T-Rex in in the building!
You have an eye for detail Stephen. Many may have not noticed the ferocious T-Rex! Does the inside of the building stretch out the rest of the hungry dinosaur within greenery?
Pretty cool : )
Hello Judy! Yep the rest of Mr. T-Rex is inside the building, right in the middle of a exhibit called Prehistoric Plants, which he shares with a few brachiasaurs, a triceratops, and at least one pterodactyl. Haven’t been inside the exhibit yet. It just opened, and I like to let the crowds die down.
Wonderful – that’s exactly how I feel this Halloween morning!
Uh, oh … hope that’s something a little caffeine can take care of!!! Thanks for visiting!
I love these alphabet posts. I don’t really understand the rules…could you explain them? It’s a great concept and your creative juices really come out in your posts.
Hey Kongo … the rules are simple: Every Tuesday Frizztext hosts an A-Z Challenge in which you deliver your visual interpretation on that week’s letter of the week (S in coming up this Tuesday). I love it … like you said, it really gets my creative wheels spinning. It’s always interesting to see what people come up with. You should check it out! Here’s the link to last week’s challenge: http://flickrcomments.wordpress.com/2012/10/30/story-challenge-letter-r/
Stephen, thanks so much! I think I’ll give it a try.

That’s a great photo! Coincidentally, I was watching Jurassic Park just a few days ago.
haha! that’s exactly what I was thinking of when I came upon this sight…
How cool is that! And to tie this superb shot with ‘roar’ was inspired indeed 🙂
Hello Madhu! Thanks for that!
